MediaCentre - Upload ImagesThe MediaCentre is your Document Management System for your images. You can create new folders, you can upload and delete images, and you can cut and paste the images from one folder to another. Upload ImagesBefore you insert an image into your homepage you have to upload it to the MediaCentre. Please click on MediaCentre at the top navigation. The MediaCentre opens. Now go to the bottom of the page and go to "actions" - file upload. Select one image from your computer harddrive, and click on submit. Note: There are many different tools that you can use to create and save images for the Web. There are industry standards, like Adobe Photoshop. But there are many other alternatives, including Paint Shop Pro for Windows, or the paint programs that comes with Microsoft Windows, or try the free open source program GIMP Please save your images as PNG or JPEG, also GIF is possible. JPEG is better at compressing photographs and other images that have many different colors. PNG is particularly effective for computer-generated art like logos, rendered text, and other images that have large areas of a single color. |
