Quickedit - How can I change the heading of my pages?

The head of your web site belongs to the navigation, and contains a text area for your name and onw or two images. The Content Management System puts the head and the body of your page together. That means you donīt have to set it up for every page.

If you want your logo or name in the heading, you have to change the image, or upload your own images.

The images in the heading have a height between 80 and 120 px, and a width of 400 to 600 px. Please use only PNG, JPEG or GIF images.

Click on "Actions - edit navigation" on the left menu.

Now a blue dot with a white arrow appears in front of the navigation bar.

3. Please click on the blue dot.

4. The MediaCentre opens and you can either choose one of the images from the MediaCentre, or you can upload your own images.

5. You now can select one of the images already in the MediaCentre or you can upload a new image to the MediaCentre. Just go to the bottom of the page and upload your image from your computer harddrive.

6. Click on the image you would like to have in the heading of your website. It automatically will be inserted into your homepage.

Note: There are many differnet tools that you can use to create and save images for the Web. There are industry standards, like Adobe Photoshop. But there are many other alternatives, including Paint Shop Pro for Windows, or the paint programs that comes with Microsoft Windows, or try the free open source program GIMP

Please save your images as PNG or JPEG, also GIF is possible. JPEG is better at compressing photographs and other images that have many different colors. PNG is particularly effective for computer-generated art like logos, rendered text, and other images that have large areas of a single color.
